President Bola Tinubu has sacked the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof Umar Danbatta, in a sweeping shift that also affected the Postmaster General of the Nigeria Postal Service and the CEO of Nigeria Communication Satellite Limited.

According to The Times, Aminu Maida will succeed Danbatta as the EVC/CEO of the NCC, and Nkechi Egerton-Idehen will succeed Tukur Mohammed Lawal Funtua as the MD/CEO of NIGCOCOMSAT, according to the new appointments made public by the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale.

At NIPOST, Tola Odeyemi was chosen to succeed Sunday Adepoju as Postmaster General/CEO.
