Lufthansa unveils revamped first class lounge at Munich airport

Lufthansa pilots hold second strike in one week

Lufthansa has reopened its First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport, unveiling a sophisticated redesign aimed at enhancing the luxury travel experience.

Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, the lounge boasts a modern aesthetic and a host of premium amenities tailored for First Class passengers.

The revamped lounge features a reimagined gastronomic area, including an à la carte restaurant, a front-cooking buffet, and a sleek new bar, all crafted to deliver an exclusive dining experience.

Additional offerings include tranquil relaxation zones, elegant washrooms, well-equipped workspaces with printers and photocopiers, and extensive entertainment options, such as TV areas and a wide selection of newspapers and magazines.

The lounge will operate daily from 05:00 to 22:00.

This reopening marks a key milestone in Lufthansa’s broader “premium offensive” strategy at Munich Airport.

Alongside the lounge, the airline has upgraded its First Class check-in area, further elevating the traveler experience.

The initiative coincides with the introduction of Lufthansa’s Allegris First Class on the A350-900, featuring two individual suites and the innovative Suite Plus.

This summer, the Allegris First Class will serve routes from Munich to Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Shanghai, and Bengaluru.

The enhanced lounge and premium services underscore Lufthansa’s commitment to setting new benchmarks in luxury air travel, catering to the growing demand for high-end travel experiences.
