PlayStation Portal has unveiled a remote-play device, the PlayStation Portal.

Here are the current specifics. First of all, the Portal costs $199.99. Second, as the Portal is only compatible with remote play, a PS5 must be owned.

Similar to PlayStation’s DualSense controllers, the Portal’s hardware features adjustable triggers and haptic feedback. It also has an 8-inch screen with 1080p quality and 60 frames per second.

The Portal uses WiFi to remotely connect to your PS5. It can then be turned on, your PS5 console may be connected with a button, and you can start playing straight away.

Another benefit is that while you use the Portal, someone else can utilise the TV to which your PS5 is attached.

PlayStation merely stated that the Portal would be released later this year without providing a specific release date.
