Louis Vuitton has confirmed a data breach in South Korea, joining other luxury brands like Dior, Tiffany, and Cartier that have recently faced similar incidents.
In a notice published Friday, Louis Vuitton Korea revealed that an unauthorized third party temporarily accessed its systems on June 8, leading to the exposure of certain customer information.
The company said it became aware of the incident on Wednesday.
According to Louis Vuitton, the compromised data may include customer names, contact information, and other details provided by customers. However, it emphasized that no financial information—such as passwords or credit card numbers—was affected.
The incident marks the latest in a series of high-profile data breaches affecting the luxury sector in South Korea this year.
In May, Dior issued an apology after uncovering a breach that had occurred in January.
That same month, Tiffany disclosed it experienced a data leak in April.
Cartier also informed customers last month of a separate incident involving compromised personal information.
