Apple has raised the cost of Apple TV+ and Apple News+ subscriptions on Wednesday, according to its website.
Apple is the most recent business to increase charges in response to similar actions taken by major media companies.
Apple TV+ now costs $9.99 per month, up $3 from before, while Apple News+ now costs $12.99 per month, up from before.
The two biggest streaming companies, Netflix and Disney, have also upped their pricing recently in an effort to spur development under fierce competition.
When Netflix released its results last week, it raised the cost of subscription for a few streaming plans in the US, UK, and France.
In August, Disney said that it would increase the cost of the ad-free tier of Disney+ by 27% to $13.99 and the price of Hulu’s no-ad version by 20%.
