X CEO, Elon Musk has stated that the platform will keep ad revenue from content creators who are blue subscribers.

“The ad money will otherwise be kept by X if you are not an X Premium subscriber,” Musk tweeted.

Last month, X launched its revenue-sharing programme for advertising, and some users have already received sizable bonuses.

Additionally, authors must be at least 18 years old, have 500 followers or more, and have received 15 million or more “organic impressions” on their posts in the previous three months in order to qualify for the programme.

An X premium subscription costs $8 per month, or $84 per year, and entitles users to additional features with the “Edit” button.

Musk stated that the programme “far exceeded” expectations and that there will be delays in processing the funds in another tweet on Saturday.

Last month, X launched its programme for sharing advertising money. Musk estimated that $5 million had been paid out to authors in the first set of payments, and some users had received substantial amounts.
