Web development platform Wix has launched an AI text generator to enable users to create customised content for certain website areas.

The text for a given site is produced by the AI template text creator. Along with Wix’s collection of AI picture editing, fine-tuning, and creation capabilities, there is now an AI domain generator for coming up with web domain names.

The AI Site Generator uses a combination of internal and external AI systems to construct the desired site from a variety of prompts, including any descriptions of sites.

The tool poses a series of inquiries about the site’s and company’s characteristics in a chatbot-like interface, trying to transform this into a unique web template.

Customers aren’t restricted to the designs produced by AI Site Generator, which is a not-so-subtle admission that AI isn’t yet at the level where it can completely replace human designers, assuming it ever does.

Users of AI Site Generator have access to the complete range of Wix editing tools, including both manual and AI-driven options, allowing them to make adjustments and modifications as needed.

Along with the AI Site Generator, additional editing features will also be available, such as an AI page and section maker that will let users add a new page or area to a website by simply expressing their requirements.
