Wema Bank and the first digital bank, ALAT, have teamed with Africa’s leading travel technology business, Wakanow, to integrate digital banking and smooth airline bookings through the ALAT platform,

The Punch reported that part of the statement read, “This ground-breaking partnership aims to revolutionize banking and financial services in Nigeria by providing Nigerians with a simple way to book domestic and international flights at a discounted rate.”

The Executive Director of Wema Bank’s Lagos Directorate, Oluwole Ajimisinmi, emphasized the bank’s excitement about the possibility of working with a brand like Wakanow that has earned industry certification.

In accordance with the collaboration, he said, consumers who book their tickets on ALAT will receive a 0.5% cashback within a three-month period.

He declared, “We are enabling Nigerians to have all of their financial and travel needs handled in one spot by combining the functions of our digital banking platform ALAT with Wakanow flight tickets. This partnership demonstrates our dedication to delivering consistently cutting-edge solutions that improve consumer comfort and happiness.”

Wakanow Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, Adenike Macaulay, made the following statement in her speech: “We take enormous satisfaction in being a leading travel technology firm in Africa, dedicated to democratizing travel and simplifying access for all.
