The United Nations Institute for Training and Research is seeking applications from female entrepreneurs, and business leaders, for the Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy Training Programme for Advancing Gender Equality and Women Empowerment in 2023.

According to Nairametrics, the United Nations Development Programme and the UNITAR Division for Prosperity / Hiroshima Office will work together to carry out this training, which will be funded by the Government of Canada.

The program’s main goal is to arm participants with important information about entrepreneurship and financial management. Additionally, it attempts to increase participants’ anticipation for learning and provide them the chance to contribute to the progress of their respective communities.

Starting in August 2023, the program will run for seven weeks and will be offered in both English and French.

The subjects covered in the course will include fostering an entrepreneurial attitude, design thinking, creating a scalable and sustainable business, financial management, and risk reduction.

Participants will actively participate in weekly conversations, complete assignments, and have access to other materials in addition to the self-paced course, all of which will help to deepen their understanding.
