UK expands work visa sponsors for Nigerians

The UK updated the list of organizations eligible to sponsor work visas for Nigerians in 2024 on January 12, 2024.

These businesses are authorized to sponsor skilled worker relocations using the temporary worker immigration process.

The amended list now includes 99,856 companies, an increase of 31,226 from the 68,630 certified in January 2023.

Among the industries featured on the list are technology, education, media and advertising, and engineering.

Charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, worldwide business mobility, senior or expert professionals, and international athletes are all eligible for the skilled worker’s path.

The UK government stated on its website, “This document lists worker and temporary worker sponsors.

“It also provides information about the type of workers they are authorized to sponsor as well as their sponsorship rating.

“The skilled worker path includes charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global corporate mobility (senior or expert staff), and international athletes. Interested parties should go to the company’s website and look for open positions.”
