All TweetDeck users are currently reporting serious issues, including notifications and entire columns failing to load after Elon Musk reduced the number of tweets users can view in a day over the weekend.
Gadget Africa reported that Musk stated that he made the decision in order to stop data scraping on the platform.
For verified users, Musk initially imposed read limits of 6,000 posts per day, and for unverified users, 600 posts per day. He extended these limits to 10,000 and 1,000 tweets, respectively, in the following hours.
The consequences of the read limits are probably enhanced by TweetDeck given that several tweets are loaded up through various columns at once.
Before Musk took over the company in June 2022, the corporation officially stopped communicating with us about TweetDeck at that time.
Twitter announced at the time that it was testing a new version of the TweetDeck web app in a few regions. Though there have been persistent rumours that the firm will make TweetDeck a paid service, we haven’t heard anything concerning TweetDeck’s future under the new leadership.
