The Chinese company ByteDance, which owns the short-video platform TikTok, announced on Thursday that it will introduce a new music streaming service in Brazil and Indonesia In an effort to compete in that market.
ByteDance is making a fresh effort with this project after announcing in a statement that it will discontinue offering Resso, its current music streaming service, in both countries as of September 5.
The business also stated that Resso would continue to operate only in India.
