The President, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has arrived for the Dangote Oil Refinery for its official commissioning.

The refinery is situated at the Dangote Industries Free Zone in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. Its primary function is to refine crude oil grades sourced from Africa, Asia, and America. The refinery has the capacity to produce a surplus of approximately 38 million litres of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel on a daily basis, which is intended for domestic consumption in Nigeria.

The refinery has a capacity to process 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day and converts it into various petroleum products, including diesel, petrol, jet fuel and kerosene.
