The YouTube channel of popular Nigerian cleric and founder of Streams of Joy Ministries, Pastor Jerry Eze, has emerged as the third most watched channel in the world, ranking above all non-gaming content creators globally.
Pastor Eze announced the milestone on Friday via his social media platforms, describing the achievement as unexpected and attributing it entirely to divine intervention.
“This was definitely not our mission, but see what God has done,” he wrote. “I don’t even know what to say but to just say, THANK YOU JESUS! This flawed young man from the backside of the desert, you chose to show forth your might through.”
The cleric noted that the global recognition was not a personal accomplishment but a collective victory shared with millions of worshippers who participate daily in the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations from different parts of the world.
“To everyone all over the globe who joined us in prayers every working day, this is for all of us. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!” he added.
Pastor Eze further described the success of the YouTube channel as a reflection of the expansion of God’s kingdom, stating, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our God.”
The NSPPD YouTube channel was launched on November 21, 2019, during the COVID-19 pandemic when restrictions on physical church gatherings forced many religious organisations to move their activities online. What started as daily virtual prayer sessions has since evolved into one of the largest global prayer platforms.
The channel currently boasts over 2.8 million subscribers and has uploaded thousands of videos, with cumulative views running into hundreds of millions. Its daily livestream prayer sessions regularly attract hundreds of thousands of viewers from Nigeria, across Africa and from other parts of the world.
In addition to its massive viewership, NSPPD has consistently ranked among Nigeria’s top-earning YouTube channels, a feat largely driven by high live engagement and Super Chat donations during its prayer sessions.
