The Nigeria Revenue Service has announced the official rollout of its new tax administration platform, Rev360, which will be deployed in phases starting with medium and emerging taxpayers.
In a statement issued on Thursday titled “Nigeria Revenue Service Launches Rev360, Marking Transition to Tax Administration 3.0,” the Service confirmed the launch.
It described the development as a major milestone in Nigeria’s tax system reform, noting that the NRS is moving from manual and partially digitised processes to a fully integrated, intelligent, and taxpayer-focused administration system.
The Service explained that Rev360 expands on earlier digital tax reforms, offering a more seamless, transparent, and efficient system for managing tax obligations.
Speaking on the significance of the launch, the Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, said, “Rev360 reflects the Service’s commitment to building a tax system that works seamlessly for every Nigerian, strengthens trust in public institutions, and supports the growth of our economy.
“This is about creating a future where tax administration is not a burden, but an enabler of national development.”
The NRS further disclosed that it had successfully completed a nationwide readiness programme aimed at preparing stakeholders across the tax ecosystem for the platform’s rollout ahead of its official go-live.
The Service stated that these efforts are intended to ensure taxpayers, consultants, and all platform users are not only familiar with Rev360 but are also adequately prepared and supported in using it effectively.
The service added however that “the transition to Rev360 will be implemented in phases, beginning with medium and emerging taxpayers, and subsequently extending to government and large taxpayers, ensuring a structured and effective rollout.
“The platform is expected to improve compliance, strengthen revenue administration, and enhance the overall taxpayer experience.”
The NRS reaffirmed that with the launch of Rev360, it remains committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and leadership in tax administration.
The NRS had earlier cautioned Nigerians against engaging with a fraudulent website circulating ahead of the Rev360 rollout.
The warning was contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the NRS Chairman, Mr Dare Adekambi, who also doubles as the agency’s spokesperson.
The clarification followed rising concerns over misinformation surrounding tax policies and official government directives.
Meanwhile, the NRS has set an ambitious revenue target of N40.7 trillion for 2026, as part of broader efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s fiscal position.
