Ikenga: The Last Festival has crossed the N75 million mark at the Nigerian box office, making it the highest-grossing Igbo-language film ever recorded, according to FilmOne Entertainment.

FilmOne disclosed the achievement in a post on X on Monday, noting that the movie has also remained Nollywood’s top-grossing film for three consecutive weeks.

The latest milestone represents another significant achievement in the film’s cinema run, as it continues to attract strong audience interest since its nationwide release in August.

FilmOne attributed the film’s strong box-office performance to the positive reception it has continued to receive from moviegoers since its release.

“N75 MILLION & COUNTING! IKENGA is officially making history!” FilmOne said.
“Highest-grossing Nollywood film for 3 consecutive weeks and highest-grossing Igbo title of all time and we’re still counting!,” it added.

The distributor also thanked audiences who have supported the film, crediting moviegoers for helping drive its performance at the box office.

“A massive thank you to everyone who has shown up, bought a ticket, brought a friend, and made Ikenga the phenomenon it is,” the company said.

Directed by Darlington Kelechi, the film features an ensemble cast including Pete Edochie, Nkem Owoh, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Patience Ozokwo, Zubby Michael, Beverly Osu, Jide Kene Achufusi, Regina Daniels and Destiny Etiko.

Ikenga: The Last Festival made an impressive start at the box office, earning N22 million within its first three days in cinemas. FilmOne described the performance as the highest-grossing opening weekend for an Igbo-language film in West Africa.

The film’s latest achievement adds to a growing list of Nollywood productions that have recorded strong box-office performances in Nigeria and across West Africa in 2026.
