Meta Platforms, the parent company of popular social media apps Instagram and Facebook, as well as messaging app WhatsApp and Twitter competitor, Threads, is reportedly back after a global outage.
The platform experienced a temporary outage on Monday, affecting thousands of users.
According to Downdetector.com, the outage lasted over an hour and impacted approximately 14,000 Instagram users, 7,000 Facebook users, and 2,700 WhatsApp users.
The recently launched Threads app also faced disruptions, with around 470 users reporting difficulties accessing the platform.
Although the outage could have potentially affected a larger number of users, Meta has yet to respond to queries regarding the outages.
