Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has moved to add Meta AI to WhatsApp after an announcement in September to integrate AI-powered chatbot to the messaging platform.

Discovered by WABetaInfo, a little button inside WhatsApp that enables users to instantly start the AI chat with a single push.

The green “Start a New Chat” icon is positioned above the new AI button, which is located in the Chats tab. The AI-powered conversation was previously hidden away in users’ contact lists.

The action button will be found by more users thanks to this new, multicoloured shortcut.

The AI-powered chatbot that will appear when you tap on the new shortcut is meant to provide entertainment, companionship, and tailored advice.

WhatApp’s new AI chatbot is currently in beta, but it shouldn’t be “too far from a stable channel release.”

All of Meta’s platforms, including Instagram, WhatsApp, and even its recently released Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, are anticipated to be connected with Meta AI.
