Customers of Fidelity Bank can now withdraw cash from the banks Automated Teller Machines across the country without using their ATM cards.
The bank made this known while announcing its cardless withdrawal service.
“The #FidelityPaycode cardless withdrawal feature is now available on all our ATM terminals.
“Now there’s no need to worry whenever you’re out without your Card. With the Paycode feature, you can withdraw cash fast and easily,” the bank tweeted on Thursday.
AMBusiness reports that the cardless withdrawal can be enjoyed by customers who have registered phone number prior to the transaction.
Steps To Use Fidelity’s Cardless Withdrawal Service
1. Dial *770*8*AMOUNT# to generate a Paycode from your Fidelity account and follow the prompt.
2. On the ATM, press any key or ENTER to start.
3. Select PATCODE CASH-OUT.
4. Enter your 8-14 digit paycode.
5. Enter your one-time 4-digit pin (pin is valid for 24 hours).
6. Enter the amount and collect your cash

Speaking about the feature, the bank’s divisional head, Ifeoma Onibuje, said, “we know how frustrating it can be when you get to the ATM only to discover that you forgot your debit card at home.
“This is a strategy by the Bank to help their customers with a smooth transition to the newly designed naira notes.
“The introduction of cardless withdrawals forms part of our strategy to help our customers transition to the newly introduced naira notes as well as the cashless policy.”
She added, “The service is currently available at all Fidelity Bank ATMs across the country and we are recording favourable feedback from customers who have used the service.”
