Fidelity Bank Plc has announced that the second edition of the Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect, dubbed FITCC Houston, will take place in Houston, Texas, in the United States of America.

The Punch reported that the international expo will be held from October 24th to 25th, 2023 at the sumptuous George R. Brown Convention Centre, 1001 Avenida de las Americas.

According to the statement, “This year’s edition, which follows the inaugural edition that held last November in London with over $200m worth of agreements concluded, is aimed at maintaining the tradition of boosting Nigeria’s non-oil exports as well as facilitating integrations to global supply-chain networks.”

Speaking about the inspiration behind FITCC 2023, Fidelity Bank’s managing director and chief executive officer, Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, said, “Fidelity Bank is very invested in supporting export trade and has consistently demonstrated this by the interventions and innovations that we bring to the space.

“Beyond the instrument of financing, some of our key interventions in the space revolve around the development of business management capacity through initiatives like the export management program, which we host in partnership with the Lagos Business School and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, and market access development initiatives like FITCC.”

According to the release, the culmination of FITCC Houston will be a gala dinner on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, including award-winning Nigerian hip-hop artist Kcee and other performers.
