Christ Embassy enters vehicle market, unveils electric cars

The founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has unveiled a lineup of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand, signalling the church’s move into automobile technology and manufacturing.

The vehicles were showcased at the New Economy Unveiling 2026, where Oyakhilome introduced several models, including the Tsion Passion, Falcon series, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.

The unveiling drew widespread attention online, with Oyakhilome walking attendees through the lineup and highlighting the features of the various models on display.

The initiative positions Christ Embassy in an emerging segment of Nigeria’s technology and mobility industry, as interest in electric vehicles grows alongside efforts to reduce reliance on petrol- and diesel-powered transportation.

The unveiling has also sparked discussions about the potential role of religious organisations in promoting businesses, technology and other productive ventures beyond their traditional activities.

The Tsion project comes as Nigeria’s electric vehicle market continues to take shape, with manufacturers and policymakers exploring ways to encourage cleaner mobility, reduce dependence on petrol and strengthen local capacity in the automotive sector.

However, key details about the Tsion vehicles, including battery capacity, driving range, charging infrastructure, production location, pricing and commercial launch date, have yet to be fully disclosed.

For Christ Embassy, the initiative signals a major expansion into the technology and mobility sector, with the coming months expected to reveal whether the Tsion brand can secure a meaningful position in Nigeria’s emerging electric vehicle market.
