Bolt, the top on-demand mobility platform in Africa, will enable both drivers and passengers to start an audio recording of their trip inside the Bolt app.
Users can only use the audio trip recording option when their Bolt journey is really taking place.
The customer support team can simply receive reports of recorded audio, enabling prompt and effective management of safety-related problems. Bolt has access to the recorded audio when it is supplied as an attachment in a safety case submitted to Customer Support.
The Bolt app’s most recent version must be installed for users to access the feature, which will initially be tested and launched only in a few cities in South Africa and Nigeria. Benin City is the first to be selected.
The latest feature is a part of Bolt’s investment to ensure that it continues to place a high focus on the safety of its consumers, according to Yahaya Mohammed, the company’s country manager.
The ride-hailing network claims it seeks to give all of its consumers a safe and dependable transportation experience by continuously investing in safety updates.
