Apple announced the rollout of visionOS 2.4 on Monday, bringing Apple Intelligence-powered AI features to the Apple Vision Pro.
The update introduces enhanced spatial experiences and a dedicated Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone users.
With Apple Intelligence integrated into Vision Pro, users can now access AI-driven writing tools that assist with rewriting, proofreading, and summarizing text. Additionally, new creative tools such as Image Playground and Genmoji allow users to generate unique AI-powered images and emojis.
A key enhancement in visionOS 2.4 is the introduction of natural language search in the Photos app, enabling users to locate images by simply describing them. A new Apple Intelligence feature also allows Vision Pro users to create “Memory Movies” by compiling photos and videos based on specific themes.
The update further includes Priority Messages and Mail Summaries in Mail, Image Wand in Notes, and Priority Notifications and Notification Summaries in the Notification Center.
Apple confirmed that the first set of Apple Intelligence features will be available to users with their device and Siri language set to U.S. English.
Expanding on spatial experiences, the company has launched a new Spatial Gallery app, offering a curated library of spatial content across various themes, including art, culture, nature, sports, and entertainment. Apple plans to update the app regularly with fresh content.
The newly introduced Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone enhances user experience by allowing them to queue app downloads, access device information, and find usage tips. It also features a Discover page showcasing recommended apps and games for Vision Pro users.
Apple has also announced an expansion of Apple Intelligence features, including the rollout of Priority Notifications, which helps users manage alerts by distinguishing important messages from less critical ones. Furthermore, Apple Intelligence is now being extended to the European Union, along with support for multiple new languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese.
With visionOS 2.4, Apple continues to refine and expand its AI capabilities, enhancing both productivity and user engagement on the Vision Pro platform.
