Apple is gearing up for a “week of announcements” starting Monday, October 28, with expectations that new Macs will be among the highlights.
Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Greg Joswiak, hinted at the upcoming reveals in a post on X, encouraging fans to “Mac (😉) your calendars!”
“We have an exciting week of announcements ahead, starting on Monday morning,” Joswiak wrote. “Stay tuned…”
Industry speculation suggests that Apple will unveil desktop Macs and MacBooks equipped with M4 chipsets next week, marking a year since its first M3-powered laptops were introduced. The M4 chipset debuted in an iPad Pro earlier this year, but Apple has not yet updated its Macs with this technology.
Reports indicate that the company may release M4-powered iMacs, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, and a redesigned Mac mini by early 2025, potentially before the holiday shopping season.
In addition to new hardware, Apple plans to launch software updates for iPhone, iPad, and Mac on Monday, introducing users to the latest Apple Intelligence features. The company also recently released its latest iPad Mini.
