The Alternative Bank’s goal of empowering local companies and promoting sustainable development throughout the state through creative financial solutions has found resonance with the Katsina State Government.
According to The Vanguard, the Bank said that the formal support represents a critical turning point for the Alternative Bank as it opens its first branch in the state of Katsina and begins a new chapter in the organization’s history in a statement.
The state governor, Dikko Radda, has expressed confidence in The Alternative Bank’s performance in the North West area, according to a statement from Special Adviser to the Governor on Banking, Malik Anas.
“Enhancing the growth of our people, especially those in rural areas, is one of our goals as a government. In this regard, we are requesting The Alternative Bank’s assistance. We are prepared to provide the bank with the assistance it needs to move forward and further Nigeria’s economic growth,” he stated.
The bank’s efforts were also endorsed by Katsina’s Emir, Dr. Abdulmumin Usman, who established a positive rapport between the bank and the community, which is very proud of its Katsina heritage.
The governor’s wife, Hajiya Fatimah Radda, reaffirmed the state government’s backing for the bank and emphasized the need of involving the underprivileged, such widows and orphans, in the bank’s CSR endeavours.
The Alternative Bank’s executive director, Alhaji Garba Mohammed, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to empowering all of its clients financially, regardless of their social standing.
