The Board of Directors of AIICO Insurance Plcs announced the approval of the Group’s Audited Financial Statement for the period ended December 31, 2023.
This was disclosed in a notice filed by the Company Secretary, Donald KANU with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Friday.
This follows the recent announcement to the investing public and NGX of the Board Meeting of AIICO Insurance Plc to review and approve the financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2023.
The statement reads “We are pleased to inform the investing public and the Exchange that the Board of Directors of AIICO Insurance Plc (the Company) met as announced and considered and approved the Group’s Audited Financial Statement for the period ended December 31, 2023.
“The Company will proceed to seek the approval of its primary regulator (National Insurance Commission) and thereafter file the outcome with the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
In addition, the statement stated that, as a result of this, all Directors, Persons discharging managerial responsibility, Adviser(s) of the Company, or their connected persons are reminded that as earlier announced, the Closed Period declared by the Company is still in force until 24 hours after the outstanding accounts are filed with the Exchange.
