The presidential candidate of Labour Party announced his arrival to Lagos State on Monday, for the National Economic Summit Group Dialogue with Presidential Candidates.
This was disclosed in the post made on his verified Twitter page on Monday.
It reads “I just arrived at the venue for the NESG Dialogue with Presidential Candidates on the Nigerian Economy in Lagos. -PO ”
This dialogue organised by this group for the 2023 elections is geared towards helping Nigerians make informed decisions on the most qualified candidate.
According to a statement signed by the CEO of NESG, Mr. Laoye Jaiyeola, “Nigeria is at a decisive point in its history and as we countdown to the 2023 polls, it is critical, like never before, to nudge Nigerians towards making informed voting choices”.
The presidential candidates are engaged by the NESG to disclose their plans on economic policy reforms and other key national issues.
Recall that the NESG had featured the presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and that of APC, Bola Tinubu in January.
These candidates were able to run through their economic road map for national interest.
However, it is time for Peter Obi to take Nigerians through his economic policy plans and path pathways to achieving them.
