WhatsApp is rolling out new parental controls that will give guardians more oversight of who their teens interact with and the content settings for their conversations with Meta AI.

The new controls allow parents to restrict how teens use channels, decide whose Status updates they can view and who can see their own updates. Guardians can also control who can add their teens to groups and who can view their profile pictures.

Parents can also receive notifications when their teen joins or leaves a group, or when a group reaches 30, 100 or 250 members.
