FirstBank to host annual economic outlook on Tuesday

FirstBank has announced plans to host its annual economic outlook event for 2026.

The bank disclosed in a statement that the Nigeria Economic Outlook 2026 will hold on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the event will be held under the theme “The Great Calibration: Mastering Resilience in an Era of Asynchronous Growth.”

The PUNCH reported that the programme is an annual customer-facing session designed to offer insights into prevailing economic realities.

It added that the event is aimed at helping customers better navigate the economic landscape at the beginning of the year.

Commenting ahead of the event, the Acting Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications at FirstBank, Olayinka Ijabiyi, said the initiative would support customers in making informed decisions.

She explained that the session would rely on expert insights to guide customers in responding effectively to economic conditions.

The event is expected to feature a lineup of economic analysts and industry leaders.

The keynote address will be delivered by the Group Chief Economist and Managing Director, Research and Trade Intelligence at Afreximbank, Yemi Kale.

FirstBank reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigerians in achieving their financial aspirations.

The bank also stated that the initiative aligns with its broader goal of driving sustainable growth across the Nigerian economy.
