British Airways has unveiled its newly refurbished lounge at Lagos airport, following a six-month renovation.
According to the Punch, this was disclosed in a statement sent by British Airways on Friday.
The airline stated that the area has been creatively designed to offer passengers additional room to enjoy an improved food and beverage experience. Customers can work, dine, or unwind in this opulent space.
It said that the 360 square meter renovated area has zones catered to different client demands and is intended to offer an improved dining, lounging, and working experience.
“The grand entrance, with floor-to-ceiling glass, leads customers into a contemporary lounge that combines comfort with elegance. British Airways has significantly invested in this space, ensuring it meets the highest standards for travelers.
“For those who want to dine before the evening flight to London, there is a self-serve dining area with a wide selection of freshly made dishes. The food and drink menu offers a range of Nigerian classics and British-inspired dishes that will change regularly,” it noted.
The airline noted that customers could also take up a chair at a recently constructed bar where a bartender would serve drinks, including wine, soft drinks, and cocktails.
“Champagne and canapes will also be offered to customers traveling in First,” it said.
British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, stated “We’re focused on investing in the entire customer journey, not just on board. For many of our customers, lounges are an important part of their experience, and the re-design of our Lagos lounge is a key part of our transformation strategy across our lounges around the world.”
