According to the Times, a tweet on the Lagos State Government’s official X account indicated that “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this news on Thursday during a press briefing with journalists from Channels TV, Arise TV, TVC, and LTV.

The goal of restoring the fee discount for BRT, trains, and ferries, according to Governor Sanwo-Olu, is to lessen the financial strain Lagos citizens are under in light of the current economic difficulties.
