Zenith Bank Plc has been named one of the World’s top 100 companies by World Finance Magazine.
The PUNCH reported that the bank was the sole Nigerian firm on the exclusive list.
Zenith Bank’s presence on the list, according to World Finance Magazine, “highlights its outstanding achievements and resilience in a dynamic and competitive global market.”
According to the website, “The World Finance 100 honours companies that have reached the pinnacle of achievement in a wide range of fields of expertise.” Every year, World Finance compiles a list of 100 firms based only on their expertise in their sector.
“The list represents the new business elite, who alter the conceptual landscape of finance, business, and technology by their vision and entrepreneurship. Notably, Zenith Bank is the only Nigerian firm and one of only three African companies to be named to this prestigious list for 2023, joining industry titans such as Apple, Amazon, and Alphabet.”
The Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr Ebenezer Onyeagwu, expressed tremendous delight in being named the only Nigerian firm in the World Finance 100 2023.
