The CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk on Friday morning tested Twitter live to millions of his followers and users.
The live video feature is the newest from the tech billionaire who has been introducing many features to the microblogging platform.
A report from Semafor on Thursday stated that Elon Musk is planning to add a financial hub to the platform, as Elon Musk has plans of making the app like China’s WeChat.
Since he acquired the social network in 2022, Elon Musk has been on a mission to rebrand the app. He has successfully renamed X after introducing paid blue checkmarks which are reserved for prominent personalities, and to boast the revenue, he introduced other features like reducing the read limit of unverified users.
This move made his longtime rival Mark Zuckerberg launch Threads, which had 100 million followers in a few days, as social media followers fled Twitter over Elon Musk’s restrictions on X, formerly known as Twitter.
