Facebook has more than 3 billion active monthly users, according to the most recent quarterly data from Meta.
There were 3.88 billion monthly active users across the entire family of Meta apps, which also includes WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and the recently released Threads. That is over half of all people on the planet.
In comparison to the previous quarter, Facebook now has 2.064 billion daily active users.
Reels, the TikTok ripoff feature that Meta has been extensively promoting across Instagram and Facebook, may have contributed to some of this increase. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, claims that Reels receives 200 billion plays daily throughout the family of apps.
According to Zuckerberg’s remarks, the brand-new, text-based social network that is affiliated with Instagram, Threads, is also performing very well.
“I think we have the most exciting roadmap ahead that I’ve seen in a while,” Zuckerberg said
“We saw unprecedented growth out of the gate, and more importantly, we’re seeing more people coming back daily than I expected.” Zuckerberg added.
Meta has added another social app, Threads to its list of apps, and it has been a resounding success as the app hit 100 million users within five days.
