It appears that Twitter is developing a tool that will let verified businesses on the site post job openings on their profiles.
Despite the fact that Twitter hasn’t yet formally announced the job posts feature, some verified organisations have already had access to posting job openings beneath their Twitter bios on their profiles.
According to Twitter, the function enables verified businesses to find candidates for open positions. Up to five employment posts may be added to the profiles of verified organisations.
Given that Twitter founder Elon Musk made a hint about the functionality back in May, the decision shouldn’t come as a complete surprise. Twitter user suggested adding dating features, to which Musk replied, “Interesting idea, maybe jobs too.”
With this new function, Twitter hopes to compete with well-known platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed.
Although Twitter users currently post job openings via tweets, the new functionality may make it easier for businesses to find candidates among the platform’s large user base.
