A former longstanding leader of the video-sharing website Vimeo, Anjali Sud, was appointed on Monday as the CEO of the Fox group’s streaming service Tubi.
After around nine years as CEO of the streaming service, Sud just announced his resignation. Paul Cheesbrough, CEO of the Tubi Media Group, takes over from him.
Prior to joining Vimeo, Sud worked for Time Warner and Amazon.com in the areas of finance, media, and e-commerce.
Farhad Massoudi, the founder and CEO of Tubi, will be succeeded by Sud, who will take over on September 1.
Fox launched the Tubi Media Group as part of a restructure in April to house the streaming service as well as some of Fox’s digital news, sports, and entertainment channels.
