Leading global technology company Zoho announced on Tuesday that it now serves 100 million users across its 55+ business applications.
The company disclosed that it is the first bootstrapped SaaS company to accomplish this feat. This expansion follows the company’s $1 billion revenue milestone last year.
The co-founder and CEO of Zoho Corp., Sridhar Vembu, announced the achievement and expressed his happiness at reaching the milestone, particularly as a bootstrapped business that has not yet conducted any external fundraising.
“I want to thank all of our customers for trusting us with their businesses and helping us reach 100 million users worldwide,” Sridhar Vembu, Co-founder and CEO of Zoho said.
The SaaS platform has slowly gained popularity, growing from 1 million users in 2008 to 100 million users 15 years later—with the final 50 million users added over the previous five years—while consistently delivering accessible technology and encouraging sustainable growth.
“Zoho is profoundly grateful for the enduring support of its more than 700,000 customers across 150+ countries,” the company says.
Leading international technology provider Zoho provides a full range of productivity tools and business software programmes.
Since its founding in 1996, Zoho has become recognised as a pioneer in cloud-based software solutions, supporting millions of users in numerous markets and niches.
One of the most successful technological organisations in the world, the corporation has more than 55 apps in almost every important business sector.
The privately held, thriving business has its headquarters in Chennai, India, and employs more than 15,000 people.
With offices in Cairo, Cape Town, and Lagos, the company has effectively entered the African market.
