Elon Musk on Friday on X, previously Twitter announced the introduction of two new premium levels.
One tier will be less expensive than the existing $8 per month plan, according to the platform’s owner, but adverts won’t be cut back. The other tier, which is more expensive, will have no advertisements.
“Two new tiers of X Premium subscriptions launching soon.
One is lower cost with all features, but no reduction in ads, and the other is more expensive but has no ads,” CEO, Elon Musk said.
Three distinct premium tiers were mentioned in X’s code earlier this month, according to @aaronp613. Separately, Bloomberg revealed that the business is experimenting with several paid plans to boost sales.
Since his acquisition of Twitter, Elon Musk has embarked on many strategies for the microblogging platform. The first move by Elon Musk was introducing Twitter Blue; a verification badge for users which was hitherto left for famous people on the platform. The next move was rebranding the platform was Twitter to X, and changing the brand colour to black. To cut the revenue of the company, Elon Musk has laid off some staff of the company and shut down offices of the company in different regions.
