WhatsApp has updated the app with a new reply bar for users to respond to their discussions, WABetaInfo reported.
The function allows users to instantly respond to photos, videos, and GIFs in the chat app and is presently accessible to some beta testers.
Users of WhatsApp’s stable version can currently reply to SMS and media simply by swiping right on the message.
In a WhatsApp chat, whenever you open an image, video, or GIF, the reply bar appears at the bottom of the screen. You don’t have to return to the chat screen to type your response, saving you a tap.
The reply bar is compatible with WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.20.20, according to WABetaInfo.
However, some users who are still on the 2.23.20.18 beta update might have access to the feature.
Additionally, WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.20.1.70 is now available. Some beta testers now have access to AI stickers thanks to the most recent beta update, which enables iOS users to make and share new stickers using Meta’s AI. The function isn’t new because it was made available to WhatsApp beta testers for Android last month.
The AI stickers function is a component of Meta’s broader initiatives to incorporate more artificial intelligence into its social media apps.
The business unveiled its Meta AI chatbot for Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram, which was created in collaboration with Microsoft.
