Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that WhatsApp will be having a new feature which will enable users to simultaneously log in with two accounts on a single device.
According to Zuckerberg, the move is set to revolutionize the WhatsApp experience, providing convenience and efficiency for millions of users.
This multi-account feature is slated to roll out to Android users in the coming weeks and months, making it a highly anticipated update. Users will no longer need to juggle multiple devices or log in and out of accounts continuously.
To set up a secondary account, users will require either an additional phone number and SIM card or a device compatible with multi-SIM or eSIM technology.
Configuring the second account is a straightforward process within WhatsApp settings. By selecting the option “Add account” next to their name, users can customize privacy and notification settings for each account, tailoring the experience to their preferences.
