Enugu State-owned commercial airline, Enugu Air, which only launched operations on Monday, July 7, has found itself in the spotlight after a passenger was forcibly removed from one of its flights.
A video circulating on social media shows airline officials dragging a male passenger off the aircraft, while background voices can be heard saying, “Yes, yes, go down,” suggesting that some bystanders supported the action.

The reason for the man’s removal has not yet been clarified by the airline or authorities. Enugu Air was unveiled as a state-backed initiative to boost air travel and connectivity in the southeast region.
Monday’s launch was celebrated as a milestone for both the state and the local aviation sector, but the latest incident has raised concerns about passenger experience and airline management.
