Popular graphic design platform Canva suffered a major outage on Tuesday, leaving users unable to upload or edit images.
The disruption sparked frustration among creatives and professionals who depend on the tool for their work, according to Downdetector, a site that monitors service interruptions, over 421 reports were logged, with most complaints centered around image upload errors and editing glitches.
The outage quickly became a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter), as users voiced their concerns
Sarah Nicole, posting as #miss_flawless4, wrote: “Canva my images that I am uploading keep disappearing. Why is that happening?.” Another user, Soran with the username Sorankurd22, asked: “Is Canva down??? Bruh, I have clients to manage.”
An anonymous user, #MSMLies247, added: “canva I cannot upload to my files right now from my app or from online at the site. My internet is fine. Is this feature down right now?”
With Canva serving millions globally, the unexpected glitch disrupted workflows for many.
As of the time of reporting, Canva has yet to release an official statement addressing the issue.
