UCL offers £9,000 worth scholarship to international students

The Denys Holland Scholarship provides financial aid of up to £9,000/year to undergraduate students from any country who wishes to attend University College, London.

The scholarship seeks to assist students who, without it, would not be able to get the financing necessary to attend UCL and who can show that they intend to fully participate in all of the university’s and the student union’s activities.

Additionally, scholarship winners must show they are committed to actively participating in the different programs and opportunities offered by UCL and the Student Union.

The scholarship organization states that qualified persons from any country, including Nigeria, have the chance to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program in any subject of their choice at the University College London, in the United Kingdom.

Upon satisfactory academic advancement, the scholarship is worth £9,000 annually for three years.

Qualifications for candidates

Candidates should:

• have a full-time undergraduate study offer from UCL starting in September 2023, in any department.

• be in need of financial support

• be able to show that they have varied interests and want to participate actively in and contribute to campus life.

Application guidelines: In order for applications to be evaluated for the scholarship, applicants must include their UCL Student Number or UCAS Application Number. Prior to 11.59 p.m. BST on July 21, 2023, complete applications and supporting paperwork must be sent through email.

According to the scholarship authorities, the successful candidates will be notified by email in the middle of September after the committee meets in late August.
