Uba Sani inaugurates first liquefied gas station in Kaduna

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, on Tuesday, inaugurated the first Liquefied Compressed Natural Gas station established by Greenville LNG in Kakau, Kaduna State.

Sani stated during the event that the new facility would not only alter the state but would also permit the employment of the teeming youths roaming the streets, hence strengthening the state economy.

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to turning the state into a commercial hub while praising Greenville’s leadership for reviving the state’s economic climate and creating job opportunities for residents.

He added that the state’s micro, small, and medium-sized businesses and industries depended heavily on the L-CNG gas hub’s provision of an energy source.

The urgent need for energy security in the state would also be helped by the development, he continued.

The governor stated, “Greenville LNG delivers a robust answer in the form of L-CNG in an era distinguished by fluctuating fuel costs and currency volatility in the worldwide market.

“In Kaduna State, this development is not only accepted but also warmly welcomed. Along with economic growth, it is expected to revive a number of Kaduna-based businesses, including the textile, machinery, steel, and aluminum industries as well as the automobile and oil & gas industries.

“Our government is dedicated to turning Kaduna into an economic hub. Our need for energy is immense. The Greenville Initiative will revitalize the business climate and give citizens of Kaduna employment options. Business is greatly influenced by energy. Small enterprises will be resuscitated with energy.

“Youths would have the chance to develop and innovate in addition to being employed in large numbers. Therefore, we sincerely ask Greenville LNG to take into account adding more gas hubs to Kaduna.

“The Kaduna State Government is looking forward to the beneficial effects that this innovative project would have on our State and the country as a whole. We will provide Greenville LNG with all the assistance it needs to succeed in this endeavour.”
