President Donald Trump will host more than two dozen leading technology and business executives on Thursday at the White House’s renovated Rose Garden, the first major gathering of his second term.
According to a White House official, attendees will include Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and OpenAI founder Sam Altman.
The dinner meeting will follow a separate artificial intelligence event led by First Lady Melania Trump.
The event underscores Trump’s complicated but transactional relationship with Big Tech, as executives continue to align with administration priorities on emerging technologies and United States manufacturing reshoring.
Other confirmed invitees are OpenAI president Greg Brockman; Google co-founder Sergey Brin; Palantir CTO Shyam Sankar; Alexandr Wang, co-founder of Scale AI and head of Meta’s superintelligence team; Google CEO Sundar Pichai; Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella; Oracle CEO Safra Catz; and Micron Technology CEO David Limp.
Also expected are venture capitalist David Sacks, who serves as the White House’s crypto and AI czar, and Shift4 founder Jared Isaacman, despite Trump’s earlier withdrawal of his NASA nomination.
