Transcorp Power Limited, a power subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, an indigenous conglomerate, has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development on the occasion of its tenth anniversary.
The Punch reported that Transcorp Group stated on Sunday that the power company was founded with the intention of transforming Africa and improving lives through investments in key economic sectors that have the potential to spur expansion.
Transcorp Power Limited’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Peter Ikenga, stated that the company’s path has been marked by resiliency, creativity, and an unwavering dedication to propelling advancement.

Transcorp became one of the nation’s top power companies after investing in the 972 MW Ughelli Power Plant in 2013. It is the biggest gas-fired power plant in the world.
