Transcorp Hotels Plc has announced a strong first-half performance for the period ended June 30, 2025, with revenue climbing to ₦47.57 billion, up 60 percent from ₦29.72 billion in H1 2024.
The hospitality arm of Transnational Corporation Plc also reported a 71 percent jump in gross profit—rising from ₦21.19 billion to ₦36.21 billion—lifting its gross margin to 76 percent despite persistent inflation and rising costs.
In its Interim Financial Statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Friday, Transcorp Hotels attributed the uplift to sustained innovation, operational efficiencies, and the opening of its new 5,000 seat Transcorp Centre in Abuja, alongside robust performance at Transcorp Hilton Abuja and its digital platform, Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
As part of its commitment to shareholders, the company declared an interim dividend of ₦1.024 billion (equivalent to 10 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share), subject to applicable withholding tax.
