Tizeti unveils AI-powered customer experience overhaul in W’Africa

West Africa’s pioneering solar-powered internet provider, Tizeti Network Limited, has launched its New & Awesome Deal, an Artificial Intelligence-powered overhaul of its customer experience designed to simplify issue resolution, streamline onboarding, and make payments frictionless for millions of users.

The rollout begins October 1 for its fiber customers, October 15 for wireless wifi users, and November 1 for subscribers in Ghana.

For 13 years, Tizeti has led with affordability and unlimited internet, delivering unlimited speed faster than 5G or satellite internet through its FreeFiber.Africa service. However, the company realized that connectivity alone was not enough and spent the past five months listening to customer feedback, redesigning its service model, and embedding AI into every step of the customer journey.

The result is a system that places more control in the hands of users, eliminates common pain points, and ensures greater transparency. Under the New & Awesome Deal, customers can check their connection health, account status, and device performance directly from their phones before speaking with an agent. AI systems instantly identify callers using their Customer Identification Number, removing the need for lengthy verification.

Customers can also track technicians in real-time when field visits are required, receive live updates on disruptions, and benefit from automated compensation when service issues fall within the ISP’s control. Payments are streamlined through the (link unavailable) platform, where AI agents automatically link transactions to the customer’s account, activating accounts instantly and sending receipts by email.
