Tesla has generated about $890 million in revenue from deals with SpaceX and xAI since 2023, highlighting the growing financial links across Elon Musk’s business empire.
In a regulatory filing released Wednesday, SpaceX disclosed that it purchased roughly $131 million worth of Tesla Cybertrucks in 2025, confirming an earlier Bloomberg report.
Most of the transactions involved Tesla selling Megapack energy-storage systems to xAI, including $191 million in the previous year and $506 million in 2025.
The figures were included in a SpaceX prospectus outlining its operations and financials ahead of a planned initial public offering.
Tesla had previously reported portions of the sales in an earlier regulatory filing.
Tesla SpaceX have long been closely linked through shared investments, business arrangements, overlapping investors, and, at times, personnel exchanges.
The two companies are now also collaborating on a semiconductor manufacturing project referred to by CEO Elon Musk as “Terafab,” further deepening the integration between his major ventures.
