The Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced that the power supply to the Kano-Hadejia 132kV line has been restored successfully.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the General Manager of TCN, Ndidi Mbah via its official X handle on Wednesday.

“Recall that the transmission line tripped on the 11th August 2024, following an incident where a truck trailer crashed into a tower in Gunduwawa Village, Gazewa Local Government Area, Kano State, cutting off power supply to Gagarawa and Hadejia Transmission Substations and causing power outages in several communities.
“TCN has re-erected the tower on an emergency basis and has successfully resumed bulk power transmission to Hadejia and Gagarawa Substations.’
The company praised the government of Kano state and residents of the affected communities for their patience and understanding during the outage periods.
